Downloads

The MRP tool is available to download here.

Please follow these instructions:

  • Download the file P-S_MRP.zip. Save it to your computer and unzip it directly to your C Drive.
  • You should have a folder like this: C:\P-S_MRP\Data.
  • If you have something like this:
    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\P-S_MRP\Data
then it is in the wrong place.
  • Open the file MRP_Tool_V10x.xlsm (the version might be different)
  • If you have not run macros before then check this in Excel:
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings > Enable All Macros
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > External Content > Enable All Data Connections
  • Save the file
  • Go to the Menu Sheet
  • Hit the “Update from Local” button

This should run the tool with our PS Cycles example data.

To run the tool with your own data:

  • Close the workbook.
  • Copy the folder “P-S_MRP” and save as something else to your C Drive.
  • You should have C:\NEWNAME_MRP\Data
  • Right-click in the area with the folder address and choose “Copy address as text”
  • Open the MRP_Tool_V10x file.
  • Go to the Menu sheet. Paste “C:\NEWNAME_MRP\Data” (or whatever your folder is called) to the cell with “FilePath Data Local”
  • Hit the “Update Text File Locations” button.
  • It should now draw data from the C:\NEWNAME\Data folder and you can replace with your own data.
