QuickStart Training for Setting Up the Integrated Planning System
In this training you will learn:
- Set-Up the System so it works with the PS Cycles Example Data
- The importance of creating a model before trying a live implementation with your data
- How to set up a model with your data
- Data Interface, connecting to data and transformation of sources
- Changing parameters and settings
This happens on the second Wednesday of each month. Time is – 3pm UK [GMT+1]. We may introduce a second session that is favourable for other timezones later in the program.
Deep-Dive Training on Focus Area of Upgrade, Expansion or Improvement
In this training you will learn:
- A deep-dive on a focus area
- The business case for expanding or improving the system
- The detailed logic of the core system in the focus area
- The process of upgrade, expansion and/or improvement
- How to run and maintain the upgraded system
This happens on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Time is – 3pm UK [GMT+1].

Integrated Planning System Q&A and Support Clinic (Group Coaching) Session
In this session you will learn:
- Answers to your questions on the Integrated Planning System
- Answers to your questions on the Deep-Dive Focus Area
- What issues others have and how they were able to resolve them
There are 2 x 1.5 hours per month. There is one session planned for the third Wednesday of each month. Time is – 3pm UK [GMT+1]. The second session will be planned in response to the group’s needs. Any updates on timing will be added to the calendar below.

Instructions
- Download and unzip the folder directly to your C Drive. You should have C:\P-S_IPS2 and C:\P-S_IPS2\Data.
- If you already have C:/P-S_IPS2 on your computer then delete this older version first.
- Once you have a new version of the system in C:/P-S_IPS2 you can run it from the Master Module, Menu Sheet, Update_from_Local button.
- To set up a new version of the system with your own data
- do NOT replace the inputs in C:/P-S_IPS2. Leave this with P-S Cycles data for reference.
- Copy the whole new P-S_IPS2 folder and paste into C drive.
- Rename to something else. e.g. P-S_IPS2_MyData. Any name, no spaces or special characters.
- Open the Master Module in P-S_IPS2_MyData.
- Update “File Path Data Local”, B11 Menu Sheet to the new Data location.
E.g. C:/P-S_IPS2_MyData/Data - Run the “Update Text File Location” button on the “Menu” sheet, Master Module.
- If you get any errors then check the report to see which text files are missing and correct this accordingly.
- If you already have your own data model in a folder with a different name and containing older IPS modules:
- Set up your new C:\P-S_IPS2 first, as steps 1-2 above
- Then copy each of the new modules from C:\P-S_IPS2 over to the folder containing your own data model.
- Update the “System” Sheet, Master Module with the new module workbook version names.
- Archive the older modules by moving them into another folder.
- Run the “Update Text File Location” button on the “Menu” sheet, Master Module.
- If you get any errors then check the report to see which text files are missing and correct this accordingly.
Consultations
Each member has a 60-minute one-on-one consultation each month of membership. You can use it for support, advice, coaching or anything else you feel I can help with.

I am not able to prepare or review anything prior to the event, but if you would rather use my time offline for email support then please send me a message at [email protected]. I encourage using screen-share so we can be most productive.
If you would like to combine consultations then you can get multiple sessions as a group. Please book, let me know in the booking comments and feel free to forward the Zoom invitation.
Please only make bookings that you can definitely attend. You can cancel or reschedule using the link on your the confirmation email. Any no-shows will consume credit and you may have to wait for the next month in your membership.
